WPSD recently held a poster contest for students to create artwork using the District Vision "A Place of Becoming." The contest included a total of 214 entrants ranging from grades K-12.

Community members and District Administration employees judged the posters during a three-day display of the artwork.

Winners were announced at the Board of Education Meeting on May 8 in the categories of K-2, grades 3-5, middle school, and high school. The 3rd place winners received $50; 2nd place winners received $75; and 1st place winners were awarded $100.

The winning posters, along with other top choices, will be displayed in the District Board Room.
