We are hosting Cheer Clinics for this year's 5th and 6th graders! Coach McKoy and current WPMS cheerleaders will provide coaching and instruction from 4:00pm - 6:00pm on the dates listed below. Cost is $10 per student (cash or checks made payable to WPMS) and registration is required by signing up here and completing this waiver. Money and waiver can be turned in to Coach McKoy at the clinic.

April 24, 4:00-6:00 @ Summit
All 6th, 7th and 8th graders, male and female, from any WPSD school or home-based education, are welcome to join Cheer for the 2024-2025 school year! Cheer Club will be cheering at school events and participating in competitions.
Students can join at any time throughout the year! If you're interested, simply join us at a practice to meet and talk with the coach.

Practices
Through April: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30-7:30pm @ WP Middle School
October-December cheerleaders will be working on tumbling, jumps, stunts, dancing, and more to get ready for the upcoming competition season.
24-25 Tryouts and Registration: All students are required to try out and register if accepted. Next year's 6th-8th graders are invited to attend the following events to gauge interest and see what Cheer is all about:
Open Practice: April 30 5:30-7:30 @ WPMS Commons
Parent Info Meeting: May 2, 5:30-6:30 @ WPMS Library
Tryout Clinic: May 6-8, 5:30-7:30 @ WPMS Gym
Tryouts: May 10, 5:30-7:30 @ WPMS Gym

New cheerleaders interested in practicing for the competition team, please join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Practices are open to 7th & 8th graders (male and female)
