At WPMS, we know that growth doesn't just occur inside the classroom. Serving others and offering opportunities to engage with members of our community is essential to our education principles. Our middle school Panthers have many opportunities to connect, learn, and grow through service activities and interactions with other community members. These are just a few ways that our students engage with the community:
Annual Student Council food drive in December to benefit Community Cupboard
All WPSD schools participates in the District's annual Veteran's Day Assembly, a chance for the community to come together to recognize and celebrate local active duty and retired military personnel and their service
Flag presentation by American Legion
Our therapy dog, Willow, enjoying our annual Holiday Chain Reaction fundraiser to benefit local community organizations
Ute Pass Kiwanis sponsors Builder's Club, a service group for middle schoolers who raise money and volunteer for events such as the community's annual Breakfast with Santa
