On Thursday, May 26, Woodland Park High School will celebrate the Senior Capping Ceremony inside the school’s gymnasium. Senior Superlative Awards will also be presented as well as the Senior Slide Show and a song performed by the Madrigals.
The Capping ceremony is meant to symbolize the capping off of 13 years of education. Each senior is given the opportunity to choose an individual who has played a significant role in their lives to place the graduation cap upon their heads. This unique opportunity allows graduates to have their final moments as a high schooler closed out by a loved one that has aided and supported them throughout their career and movement to a new chapter of life. Caps are placed by parents, grandparents, siblings, teachers, friends and more.
Cake and punch will be served after the ceremony.
The 2021-2022 WPHS Academics, Athletics and Activities Awards night will be Monday, May 23. Live stream here.
Information on caps & gowns and all your other senior supplies can be found on the Jostens website.
The senior schedule with dates and times for senior activities will be posted when available.
