Woodland Park High School

High School Summer School

June 8th - June 30th 2022

Summer School Registration Form - Last day to register is 6/7/22

8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday – Friday - High School in Person

We recognize that students may need extra time to master grade-level standards. Students will continue to build positive learning habits as they continue grade-level academic work. During this time teachers will be proctoring exams, running workshops, and providing instruction as needed for the students; however, these courses are self-paced, so students may work on their courses at any time of the day, but are expected to be in person during summer school hours.

There are 3 main options for courses in summer school

  1. Credit recovery - continuation of a course or retaking a course
  2. Original credit (taking the course for the first time)
  3. English/Math Enrichment

Credit Recovery

  • This course is designed for students who have a “Not Yet” in a traditional gradebook or those in a Standards Based Class that have a “Not Yet” overall who had a score below 2 in more than half of the standards. These courses are completed online through Edgenuity.

  • Students must satisfactorily complete the course for the 0.5 credit.

  • Students who have a “Not Yet” will receive a “C” upon successful completion.
  • Cost for credit recovery course(s) - $50 (can take multiple classes for one fee)
  • If a course is completed YOUR MONEY WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU!
