Woodland Park High School

Puppy show put on by student volunteers

Freshmen, Kaylee Hill and Louie Sgro assisted the Northeast Teller County Fire Department during Fire Prevention Month in October. Louie and Kaylee were puppeteers for fire safety skits we performed at 2 of the elementary schools in town. We did fun, 20-minute skits that provided the students with great information delivered in an entertaining way. Kaylee and Louie volunteered many hours in preparation for the skits and then for the performances as well. They will be receiving community service hours from the fire department as we are super grateful and wanted to recognize them for their efforts.
