We have received full approval to have Marching Band in the fall, including band camp!!!!

Band camp will be August 2nd-13th from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. every week day. Attendance at band camp is required to be in marching band. Any absences from band camp need to be pre-approved by Mr. Hemingson. Students will have the opportunity to letter in Marching Band, in addition to lettering in Symphonic Band and/or Jazz Band. I

n accordance with CHSAA rules, students must be enrolled in at least ONE of the band ensembles at WPHS to participate in Marching Band.

Required materials:

• Instrument
• Lyre for Instrument (This is essential and each student is required to have their own by the first day of band camp. These can be purchased at any of the local music stores, as well as online)
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Closed toed shoes
